Membership in the Astronomical Society of Greenbelt is open to anyone with an interest in astronomy who is at least thirteen years old ^*. The benefits include: after a check out process, the chance to borrow one of the organization's telescopes; a subscription to the organization's newsletter, The Meteor; a subscription the Astronomical League's newsletter, The Reflector; a discount on subscriptions ^** to Sky And Telescope and Astronomy magazines; and a chance to meet and socialize with other amateur astronomers. Dues are only $20 per year^***.
